Terms of Service
Last updated · 25 May 2026 · Version 2.0
1. Service Description
Aperture ("the Service") provides routed API access to third-party AI models — including those operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and DeepSeek — through a single account interface. Aperture is not affiliated with any of these providers.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Users must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Users are responsible for the security of their account credentials. Account sharing or resale of access is not permitted without prior written consent.
3. Acceptable Use
The Service may not be used for any activity that is unlawful under the laws of Singapore, the user's country of residence, or any jurisdiction in which the Service is accessed. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- Generation of CSAM, non-consensual sexual imagery, or deepfakes of identifiable persons.
- Harassment, hate speech, or content directed at protected classes.
- Spam, phishing, credential theft, or malware distribution.
- Circumvention of rate limits, scraping, or reverse engineering of the Service.
- Misrepresentation of the Service or its outputs as those of a third party.
4. Payment, Credits, and Refunds
Credits are purchased through Stripe in USD and credited to the user's account balance. Each chat, image, or video request is billed at the actual upstream provider rate plus a documented Aperture markup. Token-level usage is recorded on an append-only ledger accessible at /account.html.
Refunds:
- 4.1 The remaining account balance may be refunded at any time without explanation.
- 4.2 Requests are processed via the user's account at /account.html (self-service, settled within 24 hours), by email to [email protected] from the registered address, or directly through Stripe Support using the original transaction reference.
- 4.3 Refunds are returned to the original method of payment. Credit card refunds typically settle in 5 to 10 business days; e-wallet refunds usually faster.
- 4.4 Consumed balance — credits already spent on AI requests — is not refundable, as funds have been remitted to the upstream provider.
- 4.5 In the event of an extended service disruption (greater than 24 consecutive hours), affected users may request a service-credit equivalent to the period of disruption by emailing [email protected].
- 4.6 In the event that Aperture ceases operation, users will be notified at least 30 days in advance and remaining balances will be refunded prior to shutdown.
5. Fair Use and Daily Limits
Each plan tier has a daily request quota that resets at 00:00 UTC. Exceeding the quota results in a 429 response until the next reset; an explicit upgrade is required for additional capacity. Current per-plan limits are listed at /developers/pricing.html.
6. Third-Party Providers
Aperture routes requests to third-party AI providers. Aperture does not control the availability, content policies, or output of these providers. Users agree to abide by each provider's published acceptable-use policy when using their models through the Service.
7. Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Aperture shall not be liable for: inaccuracies in AI-generated output, service interruptions caused by upstream providers, indirect or consequential damages, or business losses arising from use of the Service.
8. Termination
Aperture may suspend or terminate accounts in violation of these Terms. Users may close an account at any time by emailing [email protected].
9. Amendments
These Terms may be amended at any time. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an amendment constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore, except where local consumer-protection legislation provides otherwise.
11. Operating Entity
The Service is operated under Singapore UEN 202012591W. Contact: [email protected].
